What Changed
Each time we update the Terms of Use or the Privacy Policy, we list what changed here, newest first, and the app asks you to agree again.
- We are adding an optional way to sign in with Face ID or your fingerprint. It is not turned on yet. When it is, your face or fingerprint never leaves your phone, and you can turn it off under Account and then Security.
- In the newest version of the app, the map on your Stats page comes from Apple Maps on an iPhone and Google Maps on an Android phone, so Apple or Google can see that the map was opened and which area it shows. We send them nothing about your account.
- New members now agree to the Terms of Use and Privacy Policy when they sign up, and members who joined earlier are asked once.
- Both pages now name who runs BetweenActs (Bryght Ideas, LLC), and the Privacy Policy has its own section on how we use AI. AI no longer draws stand-in artwork from your photos.
- BetweenActs is for people 13 and over.
- Both pages were rewritten in numbered sections, with a contents list and definitions.
